Hertford Choral Society was unable to rehearse and perform for this concert planned for 27th March 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, the opportunity to illustrate the works that would have been performed was opened to members of both Hertford Art Society and the choir. These resulting pieces indicate the music inspiring their artwork.



Hertford Choral Society had to cancel its planned performance of Bach's St Matthew Passion on 4th April 2020 because of Covid-19 restrictions, but were pleased to have the pictures inspired by the work from Hertford Art Society:

Paintings and sketches are exhibited each year in All Saints’ church to illustrate the major choral work we perform in our annual Easter concert, and you can see examples from recent years in the articles below.
